About Me
Hi I'm Marissa! I recently graduated Cum Laude from California State University Dominguez Hills having received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. I stumbled upon my love for communications by accident while getting my Associates from Long Beach City College. I realized it fit well with my outgoing personality and allowed me to channel my creative side! From that point on I knew this is the type of career I wanted!
I currently work for Bearly Marketing, a social media marketing agency, as a Campaign Specialist. My day to day work includes developing campaign strategies and social media management of various platforms for my 30+ clients. I am responsible for maintaining relationships with my clients as well as implementing and monitoring strategies.
Having been a part of the Public Relations Student Society Executive Board and serving as an Assistant Firm Director of our student firm Toro Tactics, I was able to gain further experience working with clients, creating content, and media writing. My time working at The Port of Los Angeles has provided me with valuable office and professional experience that I believe has given me a variety of skills to excel in my career.
For fun, I enjoy outdoor activities with my daughter and crafting. Family is also a very big and important part of my life!
